Gà Xào Sả Ớt
Ingredients
- 500 g chicken meat (wing or thigh)
- 50 g lemongrass
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 chilli pepper
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- fish sauce
- salt
- pepper
- sugar
Instructions
-
First clean the chicken under clear water and dry it off. Add a little salt and cut into bite-sized pieces. Marinate the chicken with the pressed garlic, chopped chillies, pepper, some fish sauce, sugar and salt. Mix well and let the chicken marinate for at least 15 to 30 minutes.
-
Put some oil in a pan or a wok. Now add some garlic for the taste. Next, put the chicken in the pan and fry it on all sides for five to seven minutes. Then add the finely chopped lemongrass and two teaspoons of curry powder. Fry the meat until it has a soft fragrance and yellow colour. The best way to do this is to use the medium heat level, as this prevents the meat from searing too quickly and turning black.
-
Then the chicken is ready to serve. It is best to combine the meat with boiled rice, steamed vegetables and fresh cucumbers. The latter in particular will make your mouth taste a real explosion. However, you can also offer Gà Xào Sả Ớt as a side dish to other dishes. For example the meat cubes on a fresh salad make themselves marvelous, because these provide for a fiery extra kick. You can also combine the dish with a curry or other sauces to create something completely new. Basically, there are no limits.
